A LOCAL physiotherapist is looking for other health professionals to lead by example in taking part in a run/walk next week in the town park.

Corinne Evans, based in High Street, is organising a ‘Lunchtime Mile’ run, which is a circuit of the town park on Wednesday, April 26 at 1.10pm.

“A leisurely walker takes about 115-120 steps per minute and will cover a mile approximately 17-18 minutes. A brisk pace demands 135 steps per minute for a 15 minute mile. No time for exercise? You can easily do it on your lunch break!”
