In addition to this, Eve’s Leaves  will receive a full-page advert in Connect Magazine and a double page interview in Connect Business Magazine.

Owned and run by husband and wife duo Eve and Eamonn McKay, Eve’s Leaves supplies some of the county’s finest eateries with home-grown and chemical free veg, salads, relishes and breads.

The company’s produce is home-grown indeed as it is cultivated at the foot of Cnoc na dTobar mountain on the Iveragh Peninsula, not far from the McKays’ homestead.

Established in 2015, sprouting from a passion for creating quality local ingredients and a wealth of growing experience, the company has experienced great success and now supplies many of the best rated hotels, restaurants and stores in Co. Kerry.

Throughout 2019, Manor West has hosted a wide range of artisan food producers and talented craftspeople at their regular Food and Craft Fairs, allowing the small businesses to exhibit and sell their creations free of charge.

Voting for the 2019 Food and Craft Fair Awards was opened to the public on the Manor West Shopping Centre Facebook page, allowing customers to vote for their favourite exhibitor.

Following on from the awards, Derek Rusk, Center Manager of Manor West Shopping Centre and Retail Park commented,“We were delighted to welcome some of Kerry’s finest food producers and craftspeople to our Food and Crafts Fairs here in Manor West during the year, and even happier to be able to recognise their hard work and success through the Food and Craft Fair Awards. It has been a pleasure to partner with Kerry Local Enterprise Office (LEO) and Connect Magazine in rewarding their creativity and entrepreneurship with this wonderful prize.  We look forward to hosting Eve and Eamonn of Eve’s Leaves next year and wish them every success.”

Thankful for the opportunities Manor West has provided them with this year, Eve McKay remarked, “Eamonn and I are so thrilled to have been voted the winners of the Manor West Food and Craft Fair Awards 2019 and are so thankful to Derek and the team at Manor West for the platform they have given us this year in allowing us to exhibit at the Food and Craft Fairs. We’re very excited for the coming year and plan on really capitalising on this opportunity. I’d like to express my gratitude to Manor West Shopping Centre and Retail Park, Kerry LEO and Connect Magazine for supporting us local producers and wish our fellow exhibitors a prosperous New Year.”
