It’s the weekend so here are four events to check out in town…
FRIDAY
1. This Friday at 7pm, CH Tralee in association with Lancôme will be hosting elite make-up artist, Fortunato Benavoli who will host a master class
He’ll also do one-to-one exclusive appointments at CH Tralee, on both Friday and Saturday.
Fortunato was recently resident make-up artist at the BAFTAS so you know that it will be a fantastic event that is not to be missed!
Tickets are €5 and available from the Lancome counter instore.
SATURDAY
2. Something completely different will be taking place on Saturday and if you’re out and about (weather permitting!) then make sure to pop on down to the canal to see Ireland’s first ever 24-hour Rowathon taking place.
Tralee Rowing Club will host the 24-hour event beginning at 2pm on Saturday March 28 running all the way through to the following day.
A total of 48 crews will take part in the event, with two crews per hour rowing up and down the length of the canal. Members of the public are being encouraged to come down and show their support to the rowers. Some might even get the chance try their hand at rowing from 2-5 pm on the Saturday!
SUNDAY
3. CBS The Green Parents Council will be hosting a coffee morning/bake sale this Sunday morning in St Brendan’s Pastoral Centre after every Mass at 10am, 11.15am and 12.30pm.
All donations of bought or homemade buns/cakes/breads etc. will be gratefully accepted on Saturday evening between 6-8pm and or before each mass on the Sunday morning.
4. Fresh from their recent victory over Donegal, the men in green and gold are in action again this weekend as they prepare to face off against Monaghan on Sunday.
They will no doubt be hoping to continue their momentum against a team that is sitting just ahead of us in the league standings and we will be hoping to keep pressure on the leaders Cork.
Throw-in will be at 3pm at Austin Stack Park here in town and all ticket information can be found here.
