Free Event To Highlight Reducing Energy Costs In Homes And Businesses

A FREE information meeting aimed at advising people how to reduce energy costs homes and businesses will take place next week.

The event which takes place on Wednesday, September 29 at 7.30pm, at the Manor West Hotel, Tralee, is being organised by the Kerry Sustainable Energy Co-Operative (KSEC).

It aims to give participants a broad view on how increased thermal comfort and improved indoor air quality can be achieved, and advise on possibilities for energy reduction, and grant availability. Registration is essential and is via Eventbrite only.

The Tralee event is the first in a county-wide series (max capacity 40 people -A COVID compliant event). You can register at the following link https://bit.ly/KSEC-Tralee-29Sep.

If interested, participants can then register for the follow-up and more in-depth Workshop* on October 20, also in the Manor West Hotel.

All sessions will be led by Colm Ó hÁonghusa, energy consultant and educator. These events are being funded by the LEADER programme.

Similar Information Sessions and Workshops will be held in Caherciveen, Dingle, Kenmare and Killorglin before Christmas and in Killarney, Listowel, Ballybunion and Castleisland after Christmas.
