GARDAI in Tralee provided an update on their activities on the Garda Southern Region facebook page last night.
They stopped a car driving in an erratic manner and found out it had no tax since January 2018, no NCT and no insurance since 2017. The car was seized and a court appearance is to follow.
The same members of the force, while on foot patrol, observed a male acting suspiciously. He was intercepted and searched and found to be in possession of illegal drugs — suspected Cannabis and MDMA — valued at €300. The man was arrested and detained for questioning. A file is being prepared for the DPP.
