GARDAÍ are looking into a claim that a child was approached by men in a van yesterday in north Kerry.
An 11 year-old boy was approached by a van containing three men, described as foreign nationals, in Kilflynn at about 5.15pm. The child was offered sweets by the driver.
The van is described as having a white high roof with light blue writing on the side.
Two men inside the van are described as wearing a yellow cap while the other had a black cap.
The child, who was unharmed, later informed his parents of the incident.
Gardai are asking if anyone saw the van or anything suspicious in the area between 4pm and 6pm to contact them on 066 7102300.
