GARDAI are warning people of a phone scam where a number of people in Kerry have contacted them reporting getting calls from an 021 number over the last week.
The person on the phone is claiming to be from the bank and states that there is a problem with their bank cards. The caller requests them to give their credit card details.
Gardaí say it’s a scam and should you recieve such a call you should not give out your personel financial information.

Banks / Credit Card Companies etc will never contact you by phone seeking this type of information.
