LOOKING to dispose of that broken fridge/TV/toaster/anything with battery for free?
ERP Ireland in association with Kerry County Council are holding a free recycling event this Saturday, April 16 at Tralee Mart, Caherslee.
Members of the public can bring along items such as TVs, washing machines, IT equipment, fridge freezers and stereos – anything that has, or indeed had, a battery or plug and ERP will recycle it free of charge. The event will run from 10am – 4pm and staff will be on hand to help with unloading.
It’s part of ERP Ireland’s pan-European compliance scheme for electrical and waste battery recycling. The campaign aims to encourage people to spring clean their homes, garages, attics and bring down their electrical waste and used batteries to one of ERP’s free events.
