AN employee of Kingdom Greyhound Stadium has been nominated for a national award and needs your votes to win it.
Heather Hartley, has been shortlisted for the “In House Events Person of the Year” at the Events Industry People Awards 2017.
Heather has made it to the final three from a nationwide competition and it’s now down to a public online vote to select the winner. The vote is only open until 5pm this Thursday, June 29.
Declan Dowling, General Manager at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, praised Heather’s professionalism in her job.

“We hold a lot of events here at the stadium throughout the year from the various sized fundraisers for sports clubs and charities to the really big events like the recent Kerry GAA Night at the Dogs and the annual visit of the Roses every August, all in addition to our four race meetings each week. Heather is involved from start to finish with all of these events and puts a massive amount of work into each one. I feel she would be a very deserving winner of this award and would encourage as many people as possible to go online and give her a vote,” he said.
