Information Sessions On Rates Revaluation For Businesses

COLLABORATING with all the Chambers in Kerry and the IHF, Tralee Chamber Alliance has organised two events to inform business owners on the implications for their business with the forthcoming Rates Revaluation process.

This Revaluation process has financial implications for all businesses in Kerry as they undergo a revaluation of their business rates .

These two sessions are to present how this revaluation will take place and how it will impact on business ratepayers.

On invitation from Tralee Chamber Alliance, the Head of Valuations for Ireland Mr. Declan Lavelle and the Commissioner of Valuations Mr. John O’Sullivan will be both attending to present on the Revaluation Process and hosting a Questions and Answers session.

The eight Chambers and the IHF in Kerry are jointly hosting the Two Sessions which are open to all Businesses in Kerry.

Neither residential property nor agricultural lands are rateable and consequently are not affected by the revaluation.

The new valuations for the areas undergoing revaluation will be published in 2021 and become effective for rates purposes from 2022 onwards.
