CONGRATS
Huge congrats to our ladies secretary Shirley Doody on being presented with a national  LGFA volunteer’s award last Friday evening in the Hogan Suite, Croke Park by Marie Hickey the president of the LGFA.

Shirley was nominated by coaches from our club – Tricia Moran, Con O’ Connor, Declan Quill and Frank O’ Connor for her dedication and commitment to our ladies club.

What a superb honour for one of our best! Shirley looks after the girls in our  club and treats and looks out for each girl as if she was her own .

Marty Morrissey was MC on the night. Shirley was accompanied by family and friends to receive her award.
We must give great credit to the LGFA on acknowledging the work their volunteers do over the years. Nothing was spared on the night and each guest was well looked after.

Everyone in our club and community is delighted for Shirley. She has received many messages, phone calls and messages on social media congratulating her. Congrats!
