U12s KERINS O’ RAHILLY TEAM

Kerins O’ Rahilly U12s after their win against Corca Dhuibhne last Monday

A fine show of colours as our blue and whites took on the dearg agus bán cailíní from Corca Dhuibhne last Wednesday in Ballyrickard. It was a low scoring game with us missing a few scoring chances.
Our captain on the night was Aoife O’ Connell. We opened the game with the first score with a point from Lexi Keane. Scores were also taken by Córa Meehan, a second point from Lexi Keane, a point by Aoife O’ Connell from a free and Kelly Hayes who came on as a sub and scored a goal. A great game was had by Córa Meehan who as always gives it her all, a young lady to keep an eye on in the future! Aisling Donnelly was like a little terrier on the pitch and was letting nobody away with anything. Mia Molloy was guarding the back line with her life and not much was getting through.
Allie Kerins made her debut outfield and played very well, an all rounder definitely!
Final Score:
Kerins O”Rahilly 1-04
Corca Dhuibhne 1-03

Our second “Player of the Week “ was Evan O’ Connor who was also chuffed out with his medal and had a lovely roguish smile when his name was called. Evan also in time to come will wear his club colours with pride to bring home a Championship medal.
