Seniors: No competitive action this weekend with one final county league game to be played vs Templenoe – this was provisionally fixed for Sunday next 27th ONLY in the event of Kerry losing to Mayo – as this was a draw, this game will not now take place, await news from county board.

Our status in the county league was confirmed on Friday night last when Milltown/Castlemaine were defeated by Dr Crokes ensuring we will once again compete in Division 1 for the coming season – well done to team and management who had to deal with the loss of major players during the season.

Strand Road: We were no match for Austin Stacks last Friday night in Coiste Trá Lí junor semi final played in Connolly Park –  our next fixture in this grade is at home to Dr Crokes on this coming Friday night ( 25th) in the Molyneaux Cup with throw in @ 19.00

Minors: We play Dingle on Monday 21st in Pairc an Aghasaigh in Central league.

Kerry vs Mayo: A ding dong battle in Croke Park saw honours even at the end of a pulsating contest last Sunday – David Moran had a fine game in midfield despite shipping some heavy knocks and it was his dummy early in the second half that helped to set up Kerrys goal; Jack Savage was introduced early in the game and justified his call up with some fine play – he won plenty of possession and distributed the ball most intelligently; Barry John was sent in late in the second half and played his part by getting a fine left footed score.
Both teams are back in Croke Park next Sat 26th for the replay which throws in @ 15.00

Rose Cup: Our U-14 boys competed in the Rose Cup on Sat last and came home as Shield winners – well done to all, team and management ( Denis & Mark) on a great achievement. We played 4 games in total losing only to Laune Rangers and had wins over West Limerick, Ballymac & Kilcummin. A special thanks to Edmond and his team for their organisation on Sat and the quality of the playing pitches in Healy Park.
