Seniors:
The senior team and management have been busy for past couple of weeks planning for the year ahead with a number of pitch and indoor sessions having taken place.

Though conditions are far from ideal, players have been relishing the opportunity to shake off the winter cobwebs and getting back to handling ball again.

The Coiste Trá Lí board have been quick out of  the blocks with a full round of fixtures planned for end of Jan and right through Feb- we will be first into the fray on Friday night 26th when we make the journey across town to take on John Mitchels under lights with an 8 o’clock start – full list of  fixtures on our website.

Annual 10k Run:
Our annual 10k run will take place on Sunday 28th Jan commencing at 11.00 am from the club house. This is an event that has grown in popularity over the years with many enquiries over the past weeks as to the date etc.

The event is being kindly sponsored by Pro-Plan Property Management Ltd and will honour local man John Griffin who was a two times winner of the Dublin city marathon ( 1988 & 1989) and who won numerous awards throughout a stellar career.

A special commemorative medal will be awarded to each finisher with chip timing also available.  The route is similar to other years – leaving the club house, up through Ballyvelly, onto the Kerries and Knockanish, returning to the club house via Cahills Park – click here for route map.

Registration and collection of numbers can be done on Sat 27th at the club house between 14.00-20.00 and again on the morning of the run between 8.00 & 10.30 am. Registration is €20 and can  be done on line Click here

There are individual categories for both male and female participants  as well as a team event – teams  of 4, 3 to count.

In addition, if you don’t feel like taking on the 10k there is a 5k fun run and walkers are also welcome. This is an event which can be enjoyed by all the family, so please come along and show your support on the 28th.

This week’s lotto jackpot of €2,100 was not won where the winning numbers drawn were: 2, 6, 23, & 25. David Magnier matched 3 numbers and wins €25.
