Kerins O’Rahillys members at the parade on Sunday.

Seniors:

We open our county league division 1 campaign next weekend when Laune Rangers are the visitors to Strand Road on Saturday evening ( 23rd) with a throw-in time of @ 5 pm.

Our division 6 game is yet to be finalized and details, once they become known, will be published on social media channels.

Hogan Cup Final:

Mounthawk succumbed to reigning champions Omagh CBS on Saturday last when going down on a final scoreline of 3-14 to 0-11.

There was only one point in it at the interval and hopes were high of a historic victory but the concession of two goals in six minutes in the second half proved too much with Omagh running out convincing winners in the end.

Congrats to Tomás, Jake, Odhran and Bréandán who were part of such an historic occasion.

Golf Classic:

There has been tremendous interest in our fundraising golf classic which will take place on Good Friday, March 29th in Tralee GC.

We comfortably filled our allotted number of teams with many businesses coming onboard to sponsor a tee/green.

In conjunction with the event, there is a raffle for a two night break for two on a bed and breakfast basis plus an evening meal in the Skellig Hotel very generously donated by the Garvey Group; in addition, Benners Hotel, Tralee are giving us a one night break for two with an evening meal for good measure.

Tickets @ €20 each are available from club members or the Klub.

There has been an exceptional response to our fundraising initiatives which will see funds raised being allocated to improve and upgrade facilities both in Healy Park and Strand Road.

Juvenile Academy Notes:

This week we gave everyone a break as it was St. Patrick’s Day and our juveniles were busy getting ready to march proudly in the parade. Well done and thank you to all involved in this year’s Parade especially our committee members and coaches who marched with the children.

Next Academy Training will take place next Sunday 24th March at 9am in Tralee Sports Complex again. We look forward to seeing everyone at training.

Bring a friend:

We are running a little initiative where everyone that brings a friend who is a new member to Academy will be entered into a draw for themselves and their friend for a full Kerins O’Rahillys Kit and Football. Keep an eye on our social media for more info.

Clubzap:

It is vital that all members download clubzap and add Kerins O’Rahillys to their account. Clubzap will be used for all communication regarding each age group from U5s upwards. If you are having any difficulty with joining clubzap please ask one of our committee members on Sunday mornings to assist you and we will be happy to help. Or contact us through any of our social media outlets.

Registration:

We kindly ask that all Juvenile Members have fully paid registration before 31st March. If you need any assistance or have any queries please contact us through any of our social media platforms or ask a coach/committee member at training. We are happy to help.

Best of luck to CBS The Green, Tralee U17 team and management especially our own club players Nick Lacey, Jamie McCarthy and Brayden Pierce in the Frewen Final this Wednesday when they play St Pats of Castleisland.
