AN attraction on our doorstep has been voted one of Ireland’s top landmarks by a travel website’s users.
‘The Travellers’ Choice Landmark’ awards listed ten locations across the country best rated by users of top travel website, Trip Advisor.
Killmainham Gaol in Dublin beat Blarney Castle to the top spot with Trinity College and the picturesque surrounds of Muckross coming third and fourth respectively.
Muckross was one of three Munster landmarks to feature in the top ten alongside Blarney Castle in Cork and Bunratty Castle in Clare.
