KERRY has today received in excess of €130,000 through five allocations from the Dormant Accounts Funding for 2020 via the Department of Rural and Community Development.
The investment aims to engage with communities across the county, focusing on people with disabilities. Minister for Education and Kerry TD Norma Foley has welcomed the news.
A breakdown of the funding allocations for Kerry Local Sports Partnership is as follows:
• Community Sports and Physical Activity Hubs Tralee €61,000
• Sports Inclusion Disability Programme Capital Supports €12,000
• Urban Outdoor Adventure Initiatives €35,100
• Volunteer Training and Support Programme €15,000
• Youth Leadership €7,000
