Local Motorcycle Club Raises Over €1,200 For Emergency Medical Response Charity

At the presentation of a cheque to CRITICAL on Saturday were Humphrey ‘Hawk’ O’Keeffe, VP James Roche, Donie Lucey from CRITICAL, Michael Jaz, Tony McNabb, Ian Deery Courtney’s Bar, Tony Hickey and Harry Cunningham.

A CHEQUE was presented to CRITICAL The Emergency Medical Response Charity, on Saturday following a recent Charity Rock Night held in Courtney’s Bar in Killarney.

Omerta Kin Motorcycle Club were delighted with the amout of money raised of €1,254.56 for the vital service.

“We at Omerta Kin Mcc are very proud of our achievement and very grateful for the support from the motorcycle community and all those who donated and attended our free event,” said Ruairi Radar Fry, President Omerta Kin Mcc.

“We had 600 people attend on the night. People travelled long distances to support our annual Rock Night, travelling from all over Ireland and from Europe. There is a large community of bikers in County Kerry and to have their support is greatly appreciated.”

Music on the night came from Ross Brassil who “rocked the bar and had everyone singing back to him.The atmosphere was electric,” added Radar Fry, who thanked all the sponsors, Ian Deery and all staff of Courtney’s Bar.
