A LOCAL motorcycle club is to host a special fundraising event this Friday night in Killarney in aid of a vital charity.
Omerta Kin MCC , a club based throughout Kerry, will host their first annual Rock Night at Courtney’s Bar Killarney at 8.30pm, in aid of CRITICAL The Emergency Medical Response Charity.
All donations are in aid of this vital service, which has saved many lives in Kerry, Munster and across the country. Members of Omerta Kin MCC are also front line workers and work for state bodies, Defence Forces and Emergency first responders.

“This is a very important service, helping people in their time of Emergency. CRITICAL save lives across kerry and across the country, saving those who drive motorcycles and other road users. Responding to all types of emergencies,” said Ruairí ‘Radar’ Fry, President Omerta Kin Mcc
“Motorcycle riders are one of the most vulnerable that use our roads and we are very grateful for Critical and other charities that keep us safe. We have all been affected by the dangers on our roads and we have all known loved ones that have lost their lives on the road. Road safety is paramount for bikers and promoting awareness for others,” said Ruairí.
Money raised on the night will provide to the running costs and supply equipment costs to CRITICAL, a voluntary service.
There is a raffle on the night with prizes donated by O Neills power equipment Tralee, Halfords Manor West, CH Chemist Tralee, Adams Jeweller’s Killarney and private donations from club members.
