A DELIGHTED woman collected a cheque for a fantastic €181,751 today at National Lottery offices in Dublin after winning the prize Lotto Quick Pick in Moloney’s Newsagents in Listowel, on October 1.
Speaking today the happy local woman said; “I was out when the Lotto draw was on and when I got home I asked my husband to put on the Teletext so I could check the numbers. God almighty, I thought when I saw them! God almighty, that can’t be right!”
The lady matched five numbers and the bonus in the Lotto draw on Saturday 1 October to win the €181,751 prize.
The luck was on Kerry’s side on the evening of 1 October as a lucky Kerry ticketholder also won a share of the €4.5 million Lotto jackpot. A syndicate of two who bought their Quick Pick ticket in Hannah Mary’s Country Store in Killorglin, Co. Kerry claimed their €2,266,323 share earlier this month.
