CHRISTMAS has come early to 40 members of Tralee Credit Union through their Members Car Draw.
Marion Galvin from Balloonagh Estate in Tralee won a brand new 171 Nissan Pulsar and 39 other members won a total of €23,500 between them in cash prizes.
“My neighbours Tina and Georgina Dineen called in to me on their way home from Tralee Credit Union’s AGM telling me that I had won the car draw live at the AGM,” said Marion, who is married to Denis and has four sons, Donnacha, Trevor, Clive and Jonathan.

“I didn’t believe it. I’ve never won anything before. We are delighted. It will be a great start to the new year,” she said.
Marion wasn’t the only winner who won in December’s members car draw. There were 39 other members who also won cash prizes totalling €23,500 (full list of winners below).
Fifteen members won €1,000 each, another 10 members won €500 each and the remaining 14 members won €250 each.

Speaking to “Our Members Car Draw is a great draw for our members with 4 car draws a year,” said Suzanne Ennis, Marketing & Business Development Manager. “You’ve a great chance of winning, as it’s only open to our members and to those members who are in the draw so if you don’t win, you are sure to know the person who does.
The cost of each draw is €6 per draw and any surplus left over at the end of the year is raffled out to our car draw members in the form of cash prizes at Christmas time. This year we had four members win cars and 39 members win cash prizes so 44 members benefitted in all this year which is fabulous and a welcome Christmas present to 40 members this time of year”.
Tralee Credit Unions Car Draw is open to Tralee Credit Union members over 18 years of age. Their next Car draw will take place at Easter.
