Senior Ladies:
Our senior ladies – trained by Nigel Wrenn and Damian Murphy, had a wonderful victory over Laune Rangers on Monday evening last, securing a place in the Junior A Championship County Final.  In a game where goals were scored at every opportunity by both teams, it was the Milltown Listry Ladies that came out on top. They will do battle again on Monday evening ,September 10th in Fitzgerald Stadium where they will take on Laune Rangers in the final of the Mary Jo Curran Cup. Throw in is at 6.30. Best of luck ladies! All support will be much appreciated.

Gaelic for Mothers and Others:

This bunch of ladies are putting in serious training for their up coming All Ireland blitz in Portmarnock, on the weekend of October 6th. On Sunday last, they travelled to Athea for a challenge game.  Special thanks to Adele for organising all our games/ training sessions, and to one of our coaches, Lorraine O’ Sullivan, who travelled along and gave us tremendous coaching and guidance from the side line. While some of us didn’t follow all her instructions to the ‘t’ -as in put the ball over the bar or between the posts, we still managed to come away with a victory!!

Sincere thanks to Athea for their super hospitality and to our supporters who travelled along. We wish all those with injuries a speedy recovery.

Next up is a challenge game with Legion next week. Cailiní Abú !
