THE glory days of Sigerson Cup wins are well behind IT Tralee, but there was still a local connection in the final this afternoon.
Na Gaeil man, Jack Barry, came on mid-way through the second-half to help UCD end a 20 year wait for the title, as they beat another side from the capital, DCU, 0-10 to 2-2 in Jordanstown.
Great to see a local man among the medals in the colleges’ competition. Well done Jack!
