A STUDENT in St Ita’s and St Joseph’s showed her generosity this week by getting her hair dyed purple for charity.

Nineteen year old Natalie Mason is in her final year of her Leaving Cert Applied course in the school and came up with the idea to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.

“Everyone in school donated money and we’d really like to thank Angel and Nicole from Kerry ETB for doing the dyeing,” said teacher Ellen O’Rahilly. It is hoped the final total raised will be just under €200.
