A FORMER Castleisland Desmonds GAA star, and recently retired Kerry Group Executive, will launch two new ventures at the Castleisland Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town Exposé on Friday night, November 13, at 7.45pm.
Michael John Kearney’s first venture, MJK + Associates Business Consulting, (mjkconsulting.ie) is a business consulting company, providing business advisory and performance management enhancing services to the SME sector, through an associated group of subject matter experts in various fields.
In this Kerry consulting group, many of the associated consultants are former Kerry Group senior executives, with whom Michael John has worked closely and successfully, across the world, in Kerry Group businesses, over the last 35 years.
Michael John Kearney said: “The objective is to bring Big Company quality, style, advice and performance management ways of working to SME’s locally, at a fraction of the cost that it’s normally available at, in business to-day, and this model makes it possible.”
The Kearney family of Finance expertise, is also well represented, in the associate list, namely Christy, the former Desmonds and Cork star, who is one of the Ireland’s leading lecturers in Technical Accounting matters, and Marcus the Castleisland based Accountant.
Three other brothers act in advisory roles, Eamonn (Hospitality Efficiency), Seamus (Retail Management) and Adrian (International Business Services).
The Kerry Group and Kearney influence is added to by the inclusion of McCarthy McSweeney Chartered Accountants, The HR Suite led by Caroline McEnery and Denis Kennedy in banking.
The business has a strong communications focussed dimension attaching in John Drummey, the highly regarded Media and Communications expert, Exposé Web and Social Media and marketing and social media expert Caitriona Py Collins.
The second venture – MJK + Associates Careers, (mjkcareer.ie) is a Career Consulting business, operating on a similar model to MJK Consulting, in providing Career Advisory and Performance Management enhancing services to the Career sector, across the Career life Cycle, thru an associated group of subject matter experts in various fields.
The objective is to bring to the Career seeker, informed and practical, (from global experiences) advice, re Career fit, and Performance SELF Management ways of working to deliver on the Career seekers aspiration, in terms of skills and Career goals, at a fraction of the cost that it’s normally available at today.
