A NEW programme for community organisations and not-for-profit enterprises is being run by NEWKD in association with O’Leary & Associates Training & Consultancy Ltd.
The Community Business Accelerator Programme is designed for community & voluntary and not-for-profit organisations that are generating revenue or are in receipt of public funding.
The Programme will be delivered over 2 phases and will assist participating organisations in developing strategies and plans which will lead to improved services, better governance and management and improved finances.

The first phase will involve 5 half day workshops and one to one mentoring with Tom O’Leary of O’Leary & Associates. The following modules will be covered over the first 5 weeks:
• Organisational Health Check – review of services, structures and financing.
• Review of policies and procedures and identify gaps.
• Review of structures and governance – advice on strengthening and improving board and operational structures.
• Financial Review – Budgeting, Cost Analysis, Revenue Analysis.
• Needs Analysis – What services are needed, market research within the community.
The workshop dates are February 5th, February 12th, February 19th, February 26th and March 4th. Time: 10am to 1pm and the programme takes place in HQ Tralee Block 2, Dominick St. Tralee.
