One Day Course To Help SME Food Producers With Social Media

The next TRADEIT Network event at the Irish Hub ‘Managing your Social Media Infrastructure’ will provide attending food producers with key insights, tools and tips on using social media to increase visibility,  market reach, provide key consumer insights and boost sales.

The TRADEIT Network facilitates innovation in traditional, craft and artisan food producing enterprises through a diverse programme of events and activities at regional TRADEIT Hubs across Europe.

This course, facilitated by ‘The Brand Geeks’ will take place in the North Campus, Institute of Technology Tralee, on Monday January 11.

This working session will cover the full cycle of social media activities required for effective marketing of your business, including social media platform selection, set up, the often overlooked “bio” creation. Attendees will also learn effective account management skills, such as how to utilize dashboards, how and who to follow, “list” development and uses, what and when to post online reviewing and updating existing accounts.

Participating businesses are encouraged to bring their laptops and smartphones on the day to ensure they leave already well on their way to social media success. It will look at how to measure and generate a return on investment, building a social media strategy.
