THE latest figures from the Central Statistics Office have revealed that Kerry are in the bottom five counties when it comes to disposable income per person.
Kerry had €17,154 in disposable income per person in 2014 with only Donegal, Monaghan, Offaly and Roscommon coming below them. However, the Kerry number was up on 2013’s figure of €16,653.
Strangely, the figures for Kerry from 2005 to 2014 show that we have more now per person than we did in 2005 when the celtic tiger was roaring, but less than in 2012 when the country was in the depths of recession;

Dublin had the most disposable income per person in 2014 at €21,633. Donegal had the least disposable income per person with €15,558.
Our neighbours in Cork have €19,532 while Limerick fares higher at €21,116 per person.
