IF you’re anyway involved in Na Gaeil then you’re a happy camper this morning.
The senior team’s heroic performance yesterday in Killarney beating Beaufort in the County Intermediate Club Final ensures they will be playing at the top table in contention for the Bishop Moynihan Cup next year.
It’s been a long journey from the green area at Ard na Lí back in the 70s, the new grounds in Killeen in the mid-80s, All-Ireland Junior success two years ago and now a crack at the big boys next year.
Of course before that they have a Munster Intermediate Club semi-final against Tipperary’s Drom & Inch before Christmas, but this weekend is for celebrating and well done to all involved.
Here’s some images of the game and the celebrations we captured yesterday. Scroll down for photos…
