THE rain stayed away as families made their way into the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Rathass on Wednesday as Confirmation Day arrived for Caherleaheen pupils.
It was the first of six Confirmation ceremonies this week in St John’s Parish with 15 pupils, well prepared by their teacher Mr Finn, receiving the sacrament from Fr Moriarty.
Despite the dull day it was a memorable occasion and no doubt all enjoyed the family celebrations afterwards. Scroll down for photos…
