THERE was a great crowd at Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Saturday night as Crotta O’Neills GAA Club celebrated its successful year.
Pride of place went to the U-21 hurling panel who received their County Championship medals from special guest, former Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins, but a number of other awards were presented on the night.
The club’s hall of fame award (Matt Stack and P J Stack Memorial Trophy) was presented to Mike Kenny. The Club Hurler of The Year, Jordan Conway, received the Dick Parkinson Memorial Trophy. The Sam Hilliard Memorial Trophy was presented to the Club Person of The Year, Mary McKenna.
The minor hurler of the year was Darragh O’Donoghue and he received The Monty McElligott Memorial award. The U-21 player of the year Barry Mahony received the Diarmuid Galvin Memorial award.
Guests enjoyed a delicious four course meal and music on the night was provided by Big Jim. A great night for the club which is looking forward with optimism to the year ahead. Scroll down for photos…
