THERE’LL be washing machines working overtime today after around 300 people got pasted with coloured paint at a wonderful fundraiser this morning from Tralee Bay Wetlands.

This was the second Colour Dash for Crumlin Children’s Hospital organised by Micheál Dillon of Kinetic Health And Fitness.

He said he was delighted with the turn out for the event and hopes to run it again next year. Last year he raised €5,050 for the Hospital thanks to the run and a raffle in his gym.

There were people of many ages taking part — and a few dogs were brought along too — in the 5k run and they were pelted at paint stations along the way. Here’s some photos from the start and the final paint station on the route…
