THE Kerry faithful turned up at the Fels Point Hotel last night for the live broadcast of ‘Mad For Sam’.
The Irish TV production, hosted by Brian Hurley and Síle Ní Dheargáin, had a great atmosphere with some Kerry legends giving their views on the match while Kerry GAA officials described the atmosphere and the scramble for tickets before an All-Ireland.
Ogie Moran and Darragh Ó Sé both went for Kerry to win, while other guests on the night included Ger Power, Micheál Quirke, journalists Murt Murphy and Deirdre Walsh, County Board Treasurer Dermot ‘Weeshie’ Lynch and Dr James Ryan from the Bon Secours among others.
There was also music from Liam O’Connor, Truly Diverse and Annascaul school pupils sang their own song in support of Kerry.
Great craic then and plenty of colour in the audience.
