MEMBERS of the award-winning Academy of Dance were joined by family and friends at a table quiz in O’Donnell’s Mounthawk.
It was all to raise funds to send 29 dancers to the International Dance Competition in Barcelona next April.
“The girls are very excited about the trip and are thrilled to represent Ireland at the event,” said Fiona Foley, a parent of one of the girls, who is part of the fundraising committee. The quiz is one of a number of fundraisers planned over the coming months.

The Academy, which teaches ballet and other dance styles, is run by Clarissa Michaux and dancers have been very successful in the competition in the past. The dancers at the academy are drawn from Tralee, Dingle Killarney and Castlegregory.
The quizmaster was Sean Lyons and there was some great spot prizes. The organisers were keen to thank all the businesses in Tralee and beyond who contributed. Scroll down for photos…
