THE volume of work carried out by women in GAA often goes unnoticed and their behind the scenes support for clubs can often be a job that takes up many unseen hours.

The night was organised by Shirley Doody and Marie Nix and 64 women attended, starting the night with a wonderful meal served in Cassidy’s where there were lots of speeches, spot prizes and fun through out the night.
Following Cassidy’s, the ladies continued their night and were welcomed in the Abbey Inn where they danced and sang and handed out many more prizes until the small hours.
The club wished to thank all those who contributed prizes for the night, to Cassidy’s for a wonderful meal and to the Abbey Inn for a very entertaining evening. Scroll down for photos…
