THEY came from clubs all over the county for a table quiz on Friday night to raise funds for the Kerry Badminton Association.
There were around 15 tables taken at O’Donnell’s Bar in Mounthawk and the organisers were happy with the turnout.
“This is about raising funds for our county teams at underage level — u11, u13, u15 and u17 — and our five adult county teams at different grades, so it takes a lot to keep the show on the road so to speak,” said Chairperson of Kerry Badminton Association, Tom Bourke.
“This is an annual fundraiser which has been very successful in the past. It’s great to get people from people from clubs around the county together. The businesses in town and beyond have been extremely generous in donating spot prizes so we thank them for that,” said Tom. Scroll down for photos…
