IT has been another busy year for Kerry ETB Training Centre in Monavalley and their second graduation event of 2018 – ‘Presentation of Certificates Ceremony’ took place on Thursday night last at The Rose Hotel,.
There were 436 certificates issued to graduates who attended on the night with their families and friends.
Graduates were from 40 full and part time courses in Business Administration, Engineering and Construction, Hairdressing and Beauty, Healthcare and Childcare, Sales and Marketing, Professional Driving, Sports, Recreation and Exercise, Security, Tourism and Hospitality.

Colm McEvoy, CEO, Kerry ETB spoke passionately about the importance and relevance of skills training in driving Ireland’s growing economy – where demand for skilled professionals has never been higher.
He gave special thanks to Kerry ETB Director of Further Education and Training (FET) – Owen O’Donnell who has provided strong leadership in this area.
Cllr. Jim Finucane, Chairperson of the Board of Kerry Education and Training Board noted that Kerry ETB Training Centre offer a range of training opportunities so learners can join at a level that suits them and progress to high level professional training – and that many of these progression routes are available within the training centre in Monavalley.
Kerry ETB Training Centre is holding an Open Week from 21-26 January 2019 where students and members of the public can visit the Monavalley campus and see the range of courses, traineeships and apprenticeships on offer.
