IT’S back!

After the stunning success of last year’s event in Ballygarry House Hotel, eleven couples will return to the same dancefloor to thrill audiences at the John Mitchels GAA Club ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ 2017.

The couples have been carefully selected and are currently in training for this momentous event under the experienced eye of Laura Flaherty, choreographer. The winning couple will be donating their prize money to a charity of their choice.

The club has a very astute group of judges in place in Anne Gibson, Cllr. Toireasa Ferris, Michael Healy-Rae TD., and Joanne O’Connor from Tenacity School of Performing Arts.

The inimitable Brian Hurley  will act as MC for the evening so a great night is guaranteed.

The money raised from Strictly will be used for the development of the Club at Juvenile and Senior level and also prize-money will be donated to a charity chosen by the winning dancers.

The event takes place on Sunday, October 29, at 8pm with doors opening at 6.30pm. Scroll down for photos of the couples (Junior Locke and Louise Lovett were not present for photoshoot)
