TO mark the reopening of schools after the summer break, Minister for Education and Kerry TD Norma Foley visited a number of schools in the county recently.
It was an opportunity to meet staff and students and to wish them well for the year ahead. The Minister’s Foley’s tour of schools on Wednesday included a visit to Flemby National School, Scoil Nuachabháil (Nohoval), Clogher National School and O’Brennan National School in the Ballymacelligott parish.
Commenting on the tour, Minister Foley said: “I was so very pleased to have the opportunity to visit a number of schools in Ballymacelligott on Wednesday last. An enormous thank you for the very warm welcome I received. I wish all school communities well in the coming months and look forward to the opportunity to visit many more schools in the county in the coming months.” Scroll down for photos…
