THE past 15 months has been devastating for the hospitality industry, but it’s also forced people to get more creative in how to deal with opening up during a pandemic.
The Meadowlands Hotel have built an attractive outdoor terrace, Ballygarry House Hotel have made similar alterations and Skelper Quane’s in Blennerville has transformed their outdoor space into something special.
But in terms of style, nothing compares to Molly J’s Courtyard Bar at Benners Hotel. A lot of work has gone into the decor, design, layout and furnishings and thanks to an adept social media campaign, it’s resulting in a plethora of bookings to see what the fuss is about.
We called on Thursday and Friday evening and found a very special atmosphere permeating the courtyard, which suggests the hype is justified and Molly J’s is sure to be a staple of Tralee’s nightlife scene long after the facemasks are discarded. Scroll down for photos…
