A MISERABLE morning of wind, rain and hail failed to dampen the enthusiasm of the sixth class pupils of Moyderwell Primary School who made their way to St John’s Church on Thursday.
After much preparation over the past number of months, Confirmation Day had finally arrived and it was an exciting time for families.
Bishop of Kerry Ray Browne was present for the momentous occasion along with ceremony celebrant Fr David Gunn. Teachers Eoin Sayers and Regina Rath could be very proud of their pupils as they received the sacrament before the youngsters headed off for private family celebrations afterwards.
