Na Gaeil 6-15
Corofin 1-12
ANOTHER game, another historic moment for Na Gaeil.
Just two years after winning the Munster and All-Ireland Junior Club titles, the Tralee side have added Intermediate silverware to the cabinet and they did so in some style this afternoon against the Clare champions in Mallow.
A blistering opening 15 minutes of the second-half put paid to the Corofin challenge as Na Gaeil rattled the net three times and it was game over.
At half-time it was still all to play for though, with Na Gaeil being just three points ahead, 2-4 to 0-7.

The Clare side actually enjoyed a good first half, but found themselves behind thanks to a great goal from Diarmuid O’Connor after five minutes and a fisted effort from Jack Bourke after the first water break which raised the green flag.
But by the second water break Na Gaeil were 5-12 to 0-8 — aided by two goals from Jack Sheehan and a penalty from Darragh Carmody — and the last 15 minutes were academic as they coasted to victory with another Carmody goal adding further gloss to the scoreboard.
The final whistle was a touch anti-climactic in the celebratory sense, due to the nature of the victory, but the Oakpark side will take the win in any manner, as they continue their development as a major player in Kerry club football. Scroll down for photos…
