Beauty Therapy Instructor Tara O’Halloran Cronin and Jim Twomey, Instructor at The National Media Centre at Kerry ETB, facilitated a fascinating day of super hands-on workshops.
Then on Wednesday, a make-up art event was held where the TY students worked in teams to execute their Creative Special Effects Concepts under the watchful eye of Tara and her team.
A professional photography pop-up studio was created in the school art rooms with Jim and his team facilitating before and after portrait shots.
“Our TYs are having an amazing experience learning about professional photography and working on each other as make-up artists and models,” said art teacher, Lily O’Sullivan.
“It’s also about careers like beauty therapy, professional photography, film animation and it’s great co-operation between educational institutions in the town,” said Ms O’Sullivan. Scroll down for photos…
