IT TRALEE was even busier than usual today as they held a (Social Care) Professional Practice Networking and Engagement Day at the North Campus.

There were a number of events on during the day for anyone who wanted to pop in.

The exhibition area had 37 organisations present, each eager to discuss the different roles their agencies provide and career opportunities within them. They included Rehabcare, KDYS, Daffodil Care Services, Kerry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre and many more. Over 220 people were registered to visit the exhibition on Friday.

Over 35 speakers were present from across four streams; Education and Early Childhood, Community Development and Youth Work, Disability Sector and Social Care and Across Sector Relevance.

Two keynote speakers, who are both Graduates of IT Tralee, spoke to the attendees; Thomas O’Driscoll (BA Youth and Community Work Practice) “This is Me” and Rosalind Fitzgerald (BA Early Childhood Care and Education) “My Professional Development Journey”. Scroll down for photos…
