PLANS for traffic calming measures at the entrance to Connolly Park and a new pedestrian crossing on Upper Rock Street have been published by Kerry County Council.

The proposal includes the realignment of the Junction of the L-6706 Connolly Park and R-556 Upper Rock St, the provision of a Pedestrian Crossing to the L-6076 Connolly Park Road and a Pedestrian Crossing on Upper Rock Street at the Tralee-Fenit Greenway pathway (located just north of the entrance to Dunnes Stores).

The traffic calming measures at Connolly Park are being introduced due to the new 28 unit estate in Balloonagh which has its access point from Connolly Park.
