PORTMAN Clarity has taken on seven new trainees, in partnership with the First Steps youth employment initiative, at its Tralee offices.

The Tralee investment involves further investment in training and development, with a new intake of seven trainees in late February at the Tralee training academy  in partnership with the First Steps youth employment initiative

Following an extensive review and the November announcement of the Clarity Manchester office as Head Office, Portman Clarity has proposed to close its sites at Chertsey, Aberdeen and Newcastle.

The company says a migration plan is in place to ensure the smooth transfer of clients serviced by the closing sites and keep all operations ‘business as usual’.

Affected staff will be offered the opportunity to relocate to other Portman Clarity sites or apply for other internal roles. However, it is anticipated that there will be up to 50 positions made redundant.
