TWO Meath men will take charge of Kerry’s All-Ireland senior and minor finals on September 20.

David Coldrick will officiate the senior final between Kerry and Dublin, while his county man, David Gough, will be blowing the whistle for the minor final between Kerry and Tipperary.

It’s a good omen for Kerry as, Coldrick, refereed Kerry’s victorious 2007 All-Ireland final against Cork which rounded off the last two-in-a-row. He also took charge of the 2010 final between Cork and Down.

David Coldrick also refereed, the 2005 Munster Senior Final, with Kerry once again on the winning side.

David Gough, who is the man in the middle for the minor final, refereed Kerry’s trouncing of Kildare in this year’s senior All-Ireland quarter final last month.

Given, the rivalry between Dublin and Meath, the selection of the man who could decide the senior final may not go down too well with some fans in the capital.
