Reports That Blennerville Pub/Restaurant To Reopen Next Year

IT’S being reported that The Station House in Blennerville is to reopen its doors next year.

The landmark Blennerville pub and restaurant has been closed for business since the beginning of 2013.

It is reported in Kerry’s Eye this morning that the businessman running Tomasíns in Castlegregory, Nick Wang, will take on the venture. When contacted by Traleetoday.ie, Mr Wang declined to comment on the reported reopening.

The deal is reportedly in its final stages with contracts as yet to be signed. If all goes according to plan the The Station House is due to reopen in the Spring.

Once a bustling business under the ownership of Lee Bradshaw, the pub fell on hard times during the financial crisis.

This is set to be a massive boost for Blennerville village which, in the past, reaped the benefits of having the once thriving pub and restaurant open.
