THE Kerry Protestant Hall building on Ashe Street has been sold.

The KPH building, located directly across the street from the Courthouse, was built in the 1860s. One of the structure’s most eye-catching features is the clock that hangs over the entrance.

The sale went through in recent months to a Cork businessman.

Just last week, the Kerry Law Society suggested to President of the Circuit Court, Mr Justice Raymond Groarke that the building be used as offices for the Courthouse across the road as an alternative to moving the courts to another site.

  1. Lots of memories. Hopefully respectfully restored.
