TWENTY of Tralee’s bars and hotels will play a key role once again the Rose of Tralee International Festival when they host the families and friends of the 57 Roses who will be taking part in this year’s event.

In return for being “twinned” with the Roses, each of the bars in question has made a welcome contribution towards the €355,000 cost of providing the Street Entertainment for the Festival.

The main “Pub Twinning” event will take place from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on Sunday 19th August when the Roses will visit their respective host pubs and offer an opportunity for the general public to grab a selfie and an autograph in hospitable surroundings.
